One of the most transformative parts of my morning routine is breathwork. It’s a quick and powerful way to reset, energize, and start the day with clarity. Today, I’m sharing a technique that has made a huge difference in my life: Energy Activation Breathwork.
This routine, taught to me by a professional breathwork coach, is perfect for mornings or as an afternoon pick-me-up. Here’s how it’s done:
Sit or lie down comfortably.
Take 20-30 deep breaths (in and out through your mouth).
On the last breath, partially exhale and hold your breath.
Perform push-ups or squats until you feel the urge to breathe.
Stand up and fully empty your lungs.
Take the biggest breath in, hold for 4-5 seconds, and contract all your muscles, focusing on your heart.
Repeat 2 rounds.
This takes less than 10 minutes but delivers a boost of energy, focus, and vitality. I’ve tried many breathwork techniques, but this one’s simplicity and effectiveness make it my favorite.
